David Attenborough’s Ocean is on Hulu and Disney+. Let’s watch together and discuss it!

The new David Attenborough documentary “Ocean” is now streaming on Hulu and Disney+. On Thursday, June 26th, watch it with me and a panel of ocean science and conservation experts! Here’s how to participate in our live chat on Bluesky!

Sign up for a Bluesky account,. And then follow me. And then follow our panel.

    If you don’t yet have a Hulu or Disney+ account, get one- you can even sign up for a seven day free trial.

    At 8:30 P.M. U.S. East Coast time, everyone will push “play” at the same time, no matter where you are.

    Follow along with your feed on BlueSky! Our panel will introduce themselves and their areas of expertise, and will be posting live reactions, fact checking, and commentary. All of their posts should include #OceanChat.

    You can post your own comments and reactions using #OceanChat, and you can ask questions of me and of our panel.

    I’ll repost anything posted with #OceanChat, and collate some of the best posts in a follow-up blog.

    (Students, if you are participating for extra credit in Science Communication, please be sure to 1) Introduce yourself, 2) Post at least 2 pieces of thoughtful commentary or reaction, and 3) ask at least one question of someone on the panel, and please be sure to include #OceanChat in all your posts).
